It's the weekend once again, and that means it's Caturday — my favorite day of the week! Time to share cat pictures with the world!
This weekend, the Son-Hooman is visiting us from Seattle because it was his birthday this past week. However, he had to work so we didn't get to see him... but now he is spending the weekend here.
So much to see outside!
I don't mind his presence too much. He's mostly a gamer so he's busy and tends to ignore me while he is yelling at the big TV. I suppose it's how he lets go of a stressful week. He should try napping! Works for me!
We're having a beautiful sunny day here today, which means I get to enjoy my assorted sunny spots.

What's also cool is that we got a new "cat condo" that was given to us by some friends who are also cat lovers... but they didn't need this particular item anymore. I was a little suspicious of it to begin with, but now I quite like it. It has a little "cave" up at the top where I can lay and watch the Dad-Hooman tinker with his artwork!
At the moment, it's nice and quiet in the house because the Son-Hooman and the Mom-Hooman have gone off to spend the day at a hot springs about an hour from here, so it's just me and the Dad-Hooman at home. Well, that and our Smudge, and our dog Daisy!
Mostly, I just like to sleep on top!
Speaking of Smudge, it seems like she has finally shed the majority of her winter coat, and it looks like we are not going to have to give her an actual haircut. Or, at least, we are only going to have to give her a spot trim here and there.
It is really quite amazing how much hair can be on one cat! We keep removing hair and the so-called "Smudgeballs," and Smudge seems just as fluffy as she always has been!

Feeling a little bit sad to see the Cryptosphere once again take a nose dive. Seems to pretty much happen the same way: Bitcoin takes a little nudge downwards and Hive falls off a cliff.
Of course, things are not being made any easier or more predictable by the fact that there are "scary things" happening around the world. Wars and rumors of war make Hoomans feel nervous.

Meanwhile, we are drawing ever closer to the infamous "Bitcoin Halving" which is going to happen in about a week or so. I don't really know what that means, other than the people mining Bitcoin will get fewer rewards for their efforts, which allegedly means that the price should go up. At least logically speaking.
But, from what I have observed over the last few years, there's very little that's logical about how the Cryptosphere acts!
It's so nice and warm!
All in all, I'm not too terribly concerned, because I am in this for the long run and my primary purpose here is to maintain my cat blog... not to be doing other things.
And I'm definitely not interested in the whole trading thing. That just strikes me as very risky and unnerving... and it would keep my naptime from being peaceful and relaxing!
