No sunshine? I'll just have some "crystal energy" instead!
It's the weekend once again and that means we've arrived at Saturday... and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far!
I'm actually having a bit of a "nervous" day because we have another houseguest this weekend and she brought her big dog with her.
This is Milo!
Milo isn't used to cats so I am staying in the Dad-Hooman's office for safety's sake. It'll be safe to come back out once our guest takes Milo to bed. In the meantime, dinner snacks were served in the Dad-Hooman's office.
I don't mind too terribly much, because the Dad-Hooman's office has all the basic comforts of life: a snuggly soft bed, several cat jungle gyms, the backup food and water dish and access to my litter box. All is well!

Feels like this past week was another non-event in the world of the Cryptosphere. At least I didn't see anything happen that was either exciting or panic-worthy. The infamous "Greed/Fear Index" is absolutely in the middle at 50 so people are neither afraid nor greedy at the moment.
I once came across an article that claimed that the month of August tended to be somewhat slow for a large segment of the so-called "alternative world," because of the Burning Man Festival at the end of the month.
Seems a bit of a stretch to me that the activities of some just 70,000 people (and the support services involved) would be significant enough to draw large scale activity in a single direction. But sometimes we delude ourselves into thinking that that niche markets are much bigger than they actually are.
I'm not going to worry too much about it! Maybe there is also a summer "Cat Dip" because we cats like to sleep in the sun when it's out the most!

Meanwhile, Smudge isn't too fond of having a large dog visiting the house, either. But she's perfectly safe because the Hoomans have decided to keep her behind the gate in the living room where she spent her first months with us until she got familiar with everybody.

Very wet and grey here too! Orange cats couldn’t run around the garden. The earth is very soggy and muddy for a change! In hot season the ground was hard solid. Nature and changes always take control of the surroundings here.
They say BTC is coiling up for a spring! So many hidden things happening behind the scene!
