Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and outlying communities!
Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to another Caturday, my favorite day of the week!
I'm ready for my close-up!
It's a rainy and windy day today, so I'm grateful to be inside in our cozy warm house! This spring has been rather unreliable... but the Dad-Hooman says that spring is always unpredictable.
Earlier in the week, I was napping in the sun in front of the screen door with fresh air streaming in... today I am snuggled down in a blanket.
Naptime!
The Mom-Hooman left town on Tuesday to go to a "Women's Retreat" in Idaho, so the house is very quiet at the moment.
However, I like to still spend time sleeping in the warm spots in her office, and the Dad-Hooman turns on the music on the computer to I can relax and doze off. Yes, I really like music!
Earlier this week it was nice and sunny. I love the sun on my belly!
Anyway, she will be away until this coming Tuesday, so there will not be a lot happening in our world.
The Dad-Hooman does his best to keep everyone happy, but he's just one Hooman, and there are two cats and a dog here!
And you Hoomans get so wrapped up in that "work" thing you insist must be done all the time...

The Dad-Hooman says it's difficult to photograph black cats when it's not sunny... but I'm not sure what he's talking about.
Not that I mind though... I like sunny days! Sometimes the Hoomans following me around with their cameras or phones does get to be a bit much, though!

Meanwhile, Smudge has taken to insisting on having breakfast with the Dad-Hooman, every morning!
Of course, she's got him very well trained; What she really wants is a piece of the smoked turkey on his sandwich!

Otherwise, not much exciting happening in our world.
The Dad-Hooman says we may have to buy a new computer and that we need to start saving up for that. He's been hinting that we need to start saving my liquid Hive rewards for that...
But what about cat treats???
Just looking for a warm spot...
Not sure what's happening with the Cryptosphere... seems like we are seeing more down than up, these days. It was nice to see our Hive token rise a bit... but — as usual — we ended up giving back all the gains.
I'm getting a bit tired of that!
But then again "slow and steady wins the race," as you Hoomans are so fond of saying!

Sometimes it's hard to believe we have been keeping up with this cat blog for over six years!
I was looking through my "followers" list earlier, and it's amazing how many people have come and gone again. I guess the whole process of truly sticking WITH something, week after week and year after year isn't for everyone.
Maybe they all thought Hive was going to be "easy money," but it definitely is NOT!
Smudge, paying attention! Was the the sound of a can, opening...?
You can't just throw "quick garbage" out there and hope to develop a following and success!
These posts take a lot of time to prepare, particularly if you also count all the photo taking and photo processing time.
But so it goes... we plan to keep on plodding forward, with patience and diligence!

Sammi was asking me. And we may have already asked this sometime in the last 6 or so years here. But have you ever done any traveling. Gone on one of the many trips it seems your humans take. Wether it be to a weekend market, or a vacation.??
