Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!
It is the weekend and it is Caturday, once again. You know, that wonderful day when we all get to share pictures of our Felines with the rest of the world!
Still life with cats and greenery...
A quiet drizzle falls outside, making us all feel very grateful to be living the cushy lives of pampered housecats!
It is very quiet in the house today because the Hoomans are away all day at one of their "events" where they sell their artwork! Thankfully they were back home in time for dinner!
Shadow, napping
It is definitely a great thing that Shangri and Nala have become part of the family... no more having to entertain myself when the Hoomans are away for one of their events.
As I said last time, the "new" cats and the "old" cats have very quickly become friends. Naturally, the Hoomans are delighted by this, as they were sincerely concerned that Shadow — that would be me, Curator Cat — would not take well to the idea of new cats in his world that he has known mostly for himself for eight years.
It was pretty much never an issue!
From the very start there has never been so much as even a bit of hissing between us! Perhaps even more surprising, given that Shangri and Nala originally came from a semi-feral litter of kittens!
Naturally, we hope the Hoomans have lots success with their event, because that will mean extra cat treats!
Nala, posing prettily!
The Hoomans will be gone again tomorrow, but it will only be for a short day until 3:00 in the afternoon, so mealtime will not even be disturbed!
Oh, and we even get along pretty well at snack times!
And then caught in mid-yawn!
Meanwhile, we're all cautiously eyeing the Cryptosphere, which seems to really be showing signs of life now.
I just wonder how long it will be before our own Hive token starts to show signs of life?
Must be contageous! Shangri, a few moments later!
Meanwhile, this week Smudge celebrates her 3rd anniversary of coming to live with us! Hard to believe it has already been that long since her former Mom-Hooman dropped her off here, on her way to the Dominican Republic.
We occasionally send her photos of Smudge, and I can't help but think she's a little surprised that Smudge is still alive and well, at her very senior age!

Well, time for me to head off and spend a little quality time with the Hoomans!
I hope your Caturday was a good one, and I wish you a great Sunday! I appreciate you visiting our little cat blog, and we hope to see you again soon!

Love Cats? Get Involved in Hive's Cat Communities!
If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?
These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Many of the allow you to share your cat posts, even if you started at a different community!
HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!
Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!
Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!

Lucky kitties! The kittens are getting taller and longer!
Great to see these cats being so comfortable and happy.
Smudge is doing well too.
Hope there’s lots of activities at the craft fair!
Look how much bigger he is that she is in that first photo! Yup, going to be a big cat, alright...
The photos that you captured those cats yawning are excellent.
Great photography timing!
