Tom the cat himself works much harder on Saturday and Sunday than on weekdays. If on weekdays Tom the cat can afford to sleep almost the whole day, then on weekends he has to make sure that people in the garden are working normally and not idle.
Tom the cat's favorite vantage point is the stump of an old apple tree. The cat sits on a stump and when a bird or butterfly appears, it jumps to the ground and sneaks towards potential prey. True, according to my observations, his hunt has never been crowned with success, but what is important here is not the result, but the process itself.
Of course, Tom the cat cannot deny himself the pleasure of delving into the ground himself, returning, so to speak, to the traditional origins of cat life. It’s already the middle of spring and every day the street is getting warmer and the cat’s life is also becoming more fun every day.
