Today I want to continue introducing you to the street cats of Jerusalem.
My wife and I love to go there, wandering through the streets of the Old Town district and others too. And of course we usually meet their regulars - street cats. One of them sat comfortably on the roof of a car in the parking lot.
It was hard not to notice him. However, he saw us and he didn’t really like it.
At that moment we were walking along one of the streets and were not next to him, but it still bothered him.
But in another place we were more lucky: a street cat was happy to chat with us.
Unfortunately, the photographs did not turn out as she was constantly moving here and there. An almond tree grew nearby and bloomed very beautifully.
Our next meeting took place at the old railway station, which had already turned into a recreation park with a wide variety of cafes, restaurants and pizzerias.
Do you see him sleeping in the corner? These are mobile racks for a fair that we have never been able to get to. There was no fair that day and the street cat did not suffer from this at all.
As you can see, we were not welcome here either, unfortunately. This time, few of the street cats wanted to communicate with us. Well, I hope we will have better luck on our next visit to Jerusalem.
