I hope all of you and your furry pals are very very well on this and every day!
Yesterday @circogatto showed me a very interesting and funny video, it was of a guy arguing that people who wanted small dogs what they really needed was a cat, the video was short, but entertaining because of how the guy was talking, plus he had his cat companion with him haha.

And I kept thinking... Right at this moment there are 5 cats at home! All of them travelers... More and more people are being encouraged to have felines as company, even to travel the world... Internet and social networks are full of videos of people with their cats, walking them in the park, building indoor catios, vets talking about cats and their specific needs... I remember that in the 90s, when I was little in the town where I was born cats were not so popular, in fact everyone had dogs, and whoever had cat/s was for sure the town weirdo... Then we moved to Maracaibo and dogs were still the dominant species.

Nowadays even my mom has adopted kittens haha a couple of years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and that's when she adopted Mia, a kitten that she had a short time because of life, and from that moment she discovered the nice company she could have in them. By now she has 3, there came a time when she had 5 :O Also Jhon's relatives have adopted kittens, and so have many other people I know.

Returning to the subject of the house and the amount of felines there are at the moment, I will tell you a little about them.
The first one to arrive was Waira, together with Anna and Alan, an Argentinean couple we have known for a while now. She is white and has a bit of yellow on her head, she is quite young and very calm, she loves spending time with her humans and they adore the kitty :)

Then, about a week ago, Rodri and Griselda came back with Calle, a kitten they adopted in Chincha (an area of Peru where they say they eat cats, I haven't been there yet, so I don't know, but even Peruvians say so). They had already been in the house some time ago, now Calle is much bigger and more beautiful, she is white with black and very fluffy, fluffy and more independent than Waira.
A couple of days ago a group of Argentinean travelers arrived with the last one, Catalina, who also travels with a canine friend. Since these guys arrived Jhon told me that he had seen a new cat at home, I just saw her today, she went down with the dog to the kitchen to accompany her human who was cooking haha She is calico, very very black and with yellow spots, very obedient from what I saw at that time.

Our Luna and Agatha who are more spoiled every day... Jhon yesterday had an accident on the bike, he is not that bad, but he needs rest, as he is very sore, and Luna is happy to be all day near him or using him as his bed haha.
In your respective countries have you seen a greater acceptance of the "cat", or have you always perceived it that way? Ayer @circogatto me mostró un video muy interesante y divertido, era de un chico argumentando que las personas que querían perros pequeños lo que realmente necesitaban era un gato, el video era corto, pero entretenido por como el chico hablaba, además de que tenía a su compañero gatuno con él haha

Y me quede pensando… ¡Justo en este momento hay 5 gatos en casa! Todos de viajeros… Cada vez más la gente se está animando a tener felinos como compañía, hasta para recorrer el mundo... Internet y las redes sociales están llenas de videos de personas con sus gatos, paseándolos en el parque, construyéndoles catios a los indoor, veterinarios hablando de gatos y sus necesidades específicas… Recuerdo que en los 90s, cuando era pequeña en el pueblo en el que nací los gatos no eran tan populares, de hecho todo el mundo tenía perros, y quien tenía gato/s era de seguro el rarito del pueblo... Luego nos mudamos a Maracaibo y los canes seguían siendo la especie dominante.

En la actualidad hasta mi mamá ha adoptado gatitos haha hace un par de años le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama, y fue cuando adopto a Mía, una gatita que tuvo poco tiempo por cosas de la vida, y desde ese momento descubrió la linda compañía que podía tener en ellos. Por ahora tiene 3, llego un momento en el que tenía 5 :O También los familiares de Jhon han adoptado gatitos, y así muchas otras personas que conozco!

Volviendo al tema de la casa y la cantidad de felinos que hay en este momento, les contaré un poco sobre ellos.
La primera en llegar fue Waira, junto con Anna y Alan, una pareja de argentinos que conocemos hace un tiempo ya. Ella es blanquita y tiene un poco de amarillo en su cabeza, es bastante joven y muy tranquila, le gusta mucho pasar tiempo con sus humanos y ellos adoran a la gatita :)

Luego, hace como una semana, volvieron Rodri y Griselda con Calle, una gatita que adoptaron en Chincha(una zona de Perú en la que dicen que comen gato, yo aún no he estado, así que no sé, pero eso dicen hasta peruanos) Ellos ya habían estado en la casa hace un tiempo, ahora Calle está mucho más grande y hermosita, ella es blanca con negro y muy peluda, esponjosa y más independiente que Waira.
Hace un par de días llegaron un grupo de argentinos viajeros con la última, Catalina, que además viaja también con una amiga canina. Desde que llegaron estos chicos Jhon me contó que había visto un gato nuevo en casa, yo recién la vi hoy, bajo con la perrita a la cocina a acompañar a su humano que estaba cocinando haha Ella es calicó, muy muy negrita y con pintas amarillas, muy obediente por lo que vi en ese momento.

Nuestros Luna y Agatha que están más mimados cada día… Jhon ayer tuvo un accidente en la bici, no es mayor, pero necesita reposo, ya que está muy adolorido, y Luna está feliz de poder estar todo el día cerquita de él o usándolo como su cama haha
¿En sus respectivos países han visto una mayor aceptación al “gato”, o siempre lo han percibido así? Estas son cosas que me dan mucha curiosidad, pues cada cultura es diferente y entre países muchas cosas cambian. Gracias por leer :) 💞 Abrazos, besitos, tomen agüita y cepillense los dientes! 💞
