It’s been a while since I shared him in my catblogs. I mentioned before that Luna has been distant ever since the small cats came. I don’t know if he’s jealous or just feels bad that we couldn’t give him the same attention as before. Anyway it's clear that he's undeniably distancing himself, yet he didn't planted a grudge against us and I’m glad he still lets us pet him.
Now he often spends time at my grandmother's place, which is just behind our house. My grandmother wasn’t that fond of cats because she’s more into dogs. But since Luna spends most of his time there, she somehow got used to him. Like what our cats mostly did to us, Luna bewitched her and it wasn’t long when my grandmother started to care for him.
Luna isn’t hard to like either because he’s basically the reason why we were convinced to shelter more cats. He’s very calm cat, and often he likes to spend time alone. Even though he’s aloof, he’s not the kind of cat that’ll get aggressive once you pet him. What’s more is he isn’t PG or patay gutom—glutton in English (I guess lol).
When he’s full, he doesn’t eat more, and he doesn’t meow too much like Maning when he asks for food, he just wait, look up at us, and give us his pleading eyes. Definitely the ideal polite cat, so of course, we can’t resist that! He may not be as affectionate as Chappy, but he has his own charms, and certainly those I’ve mentioned are part of them.
So much for that, today Luna visited us after days of not coming to our house, and as usual, he slept on his favorite spot—on the top of our amplifier. He sat comfortably on top of it, and there he watched us while we were doing our own stuffs. He continued sitting there until he fell asleep, but before he could, he let me take pictures of him.
Luna is definitely not fond of cameras because, like I said, he’s quite the aloof type, and he doesn’t want anybody disrupting his alone time. But strangely, today he let me take a few pictures of him while he’s on our amplifier. He gave me his signature fierce look, and after less than a minute of taking pictures, I let him have his alone time.
I think that would be enough catsharing for today, and hopefully I’ll get to share more in these coming Caturdays! I hope you’re all doing well with your cat families, and before I forget Happy Caturday to you all ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
All of the pictures used are mine.
Maybe he's jealous of the arrival of the new arrivals. Solitary cats don't adapt quickly to "intruders" who suddenly appear. Give him lots of cuddles whenever you can, so he understands there's enough affection for everyone 😉 Happy Caturday! 😸💚
Probably he really is...but like I said, he seemed to adapt to his current situation. Of course, we still cuddle him, but not as often as it was before, yet no worries because there's my grandmother who also cared for him now. Maybe that's the reason why he seemed not to mind that much, nor hold a grudge against us. But still we kinda miss him -_-
Happy Caturday again!
