Kittens On My Bed!

in Caturdaylast month

For the past weeks, the growth of these two has been noticeable because they've transformed from really small furballs into slightly slender kittens. I know they'll eventually grow more, but I couldn't help but wish they'd just stay in their cute size. Anyway, since their growth is inevitable, as much as possible, I wanted to take pictures of them. It's Caturday today, so I decided that it would be nice to capture some of their moments together, but this time I tried to see how they would react to sleeping on my bed!

At first, the two were restless and curious because, unlike the cold floor, my bed is quite warm. Chipapi—the white one with black markings already slept earlier, so I understand why she's busy fidgeting around my bed. On the other hand, Chipipa—the grayish one was undeniably comfortable lying on it and in just a few minutes, she already dozed off on my bed. However, unlike Chipipa, Chipapi continued pacing restlessly until I was consumed with my sleepiness. I just finished washing my socks at that time, so I was quite tired and decided to join them in taking a nap.

Yet it wasn't long when I felt something walking on my chest, and I was surprised when I saw Chipapi. I immediately tried to get her off me, but she clawed instinctively on my shirt, so I ended up putting her down again. Once she stops fussing, I again tried to get her off carefully and place her down on the floor. That seems to be her goal because the moment I put her down, she immediately hopped and ran towards the doorway where she waited for their mother. The door was still closed, so she had no choice but to wait beside it, and that's only the time she rested and lay down.

Once I saw she was comfortable, I went back to my bed. I thought Chipipa was also awake by that time, but she was still asleep when I saw her again. I guess she's really exhausted, so I give her time to sleep while I'm also sleeping. It wasn't long when I awoke again with something playing on my feet, and of course, I'm not surprised to see it's her. I guess her bed experience was already enough for today, so I brought him near Chipapi, and together they played and waited for the arrival of their mother.

Great Post.!!

I will be doing a post in the next week or so about our ongoing rescue right now.

Here is a sneak peek photo of "Ghost" or maybe we will call him "Dexter"? He is a big yearling (maybe 2 yrs) that was starving when He wandered in to Our Pookyville Cat Ranch here in northern FLA (usa) a week ago.

He is now safe indoors with us.

Thank you! Good to know that he's doing well now. There are really a lot of cats that need help, and even Chipapi and Chipipa are among them. I know I can't help them all, but at least I can give food and shelter to some.

And yeah...I will definitely look forward to that post!

Aww 😍 what cute babies! That's right, take advantage of taking photos and videos, because in the blink of an eye Chipipa and Chipapi will grow up hehe, take advantage of those moments of mischief 😇💚

Yessss...I know they'll eventually grow bigger, and I couldn't scoop them in one hand, so as much as I can, I'll take pictures of their cute moments!
