An Unexpected Reunion
Hello dear friends of #caturday, surely many of you will remember that two weeks ago I published an encounter with a yellow cat from the building, who let me pet him and photograph him very well. Here I leave the link to the post in case you didn’t see it.

To my surprise, today I was in the building lobby, and suddenly the same cat made his entrance. I recognized him immediately, not only by his color, which is very common among the cats here, but because his behavior was different, as if he also remembered me. I immediately started photographing him and playing with him under the neighbors’ gaze. A friend passed by and confirmed what I thought, he said that is the only one who lets people touch him.
Calm, with that curious and wise look that distinguishes him so much. This time I didn’t have to earn his trust, he just approached me and started doing things like scratching himself and rolling on the floor. It was clear that my presence didn’t bother him in the slightest. As if we both remembered that first encounter.
I approached slowly, and to my surprise, he didn’t move away. He watched me for a moment, wagged his tail, and once again accepted my hand. That brief caress felt different; it was no longer the first test contact but a gesture of consolidated trust.
It was as if the cat said without words, “I remember you. You can come closer.”
In the photos, you can see his serenity, his calm posture, and that look that seems to say so much.
This Caturday is not just about seeing a cat again. It’s about how trust, once born, can grow in silence.
Sometimes no words or grand gestures are needed, only presence, respect, and time.
Today that cat reminded me once again that the most sincere tenderness often walks on four paws.
Happy Caturday from the building!

Cat exactly like ours. Red Bandit!
