Cool beers bro. Looks tasty, id probably go with the 1st. Bitter or bready just sounds less tasty to me. Sometimes an ale is just simpler and not too hoppy like an IPA.

I generally like ales over lagers and I have never been a fan of really hoppy beers. Not for me. I prefer malt forward beers myself
