What a damn good question.
I am quite fond of the “new wild styles” of beer, which offer a much wider and more varied taste experience.
Some people have gone too far with the typical taste, either by being too extreme or by being too mild. For example, some beers are way to too hoppy, while others are too malty or even too fruity.
Beneath all this, I really enjoy a good Belgium Trappist style beer.
I have a similar problem drinking typical German pils style - which I just don’t like anymore.
I like some traditional styles like Czech Pilsener, which is ideal for an everyday consumptuon. IPAs and Trappist beers are not my everyday beers, but once or twice a week are quite enjoyable. But Belgian ones are definitely like outsiders in the group… 🤷🏻
