Belgium Beer in Berlin
During my last trip to Berlin I found a little Belgian Beer bar at Prenzlauer Berg area.
The name of this beer is "Les Bons Voeux" and this means best wishes. This is what the Brasserie Dupont sends with this very special saison ale brewed for the holidays. Redolently aromatic, rich and velvety.

The taste
So, my little bottle got empty quite fast. But the taste was really great and for sure something different.
There are many different and not very dominant tastes within this beer. It is a complex but still fresh beer. Lay back and try to figure out all the different parts like the little fresh fruits and the malty segments - I enjoy that mix and I understand why they rate it 93/100 at beeradvocate
Rich gold color, fragrant (lemony with hints of pepper, banana and clove), as all the beers of Dupont are with a full, deep malt richness that lingers on your tongue for what seems the whole holiday season. Considered by some the finest offering from this unparalleled Brewery. “The best Belgian beer, if ever there could be such an award...a sumptuous, seductive 9.5% beer. Because of it’s intensity, I would recommend the novice graduate to this beer. However, if a saison that is starting to lean towards being a triple appeals to you, and if it's in season, don’t hesitate.”

Drinking
It pours a very nice rich golden color with a very faint haze. A fluffy off-white head of very fine bubbles has stuck around and remained as a pinky finger high. The head stays medium long.

Wonderful chat
As being "a bit shy" I started a direct chat with the bartender who recognised my "Belgium" T-shirt right away.
After some minutes, we ended up with the "Avec Les Bons Voeux" beer and I went away with a big happy smile.

Ohhhhh, das ist schwer zu sagen. Bei den Belgiern arbeite ich mich konstant durch das immer größer werdende Angebot. Die Trappisten habe ich fast alle getestet und würde jedes davon erneut trinken.
Die Fruchtbiere sind manchmal erschreckend fruchtig oft aber wirklich nur am Rande mit einer Fruchnote....
... sollte jetzt aufhören, denn das kann sonst ein sehr langer Text werden
