On the terrace, cooled to 9°C, there was another gift set of beer that I bought in Hungary.
I noticed it on the market shelves because of the Christmas design and the look of the glass that was in the package.
Of the three cans, one particularly interested me, since I had never had the opportunity to try a fruit beer before.
The First craft beer brewery from Budapest was founded in 2016 and in addition to these beers from the gift set, they brew many other types of beer. It is interesting that in the brewery they have a tasting area with taps, connected directly to the production. The first time I go to Budapest, I will definitely visit it 🙂
I planned to taste at least one of the three cans from this package last Saturday, but a cold prevented me.
Instead of beer, for the past 7 days I have been drinking medicine.
As the therapy ended yesterday and I have no complaints, I decided to taste one can from that gift set today.
Ever since I heard that my Hive friend @ph1102 was drinking beer (which he normally doesn't drink), when he was visiting Prague with mipiano, I had to try just that, a fruity beer.
At that time, they were in the company of honeydue and hosted by @godfish, who carefully chose beer that they would like.
So let me try that fruit beer.
I opened the package and saw that there was one Pilsner and one cherry in the package.
I read what food is recommended with fruit beer, so since stronger, more spicy meat is recommended, I ordered a gourmet burger.

While I was waiting for my food to arrive, I grabbed some pistachios and decided to have a pilsner before lunch and a fruit beer.

Pilsner is pourable, with foam that doesn't last long, moderate carbonation, very drinkable.
In order not to completely ruin my lunch, I didn't continue nibbling on the pistachios even though combined with a light pilsner like this I could eat probably half of this bag and drink a few of these beers 🙂
When the burger arrived, it was the turn of the Plum and Cinnamon fruit beer to be poured.
Almost without any foam, fragrant, sweet, fruity, beautiful color.
I couldn't bear to take the first sip after a few bites, because Beer first, then food.
At the first sip, it was clear to me how it is possible for someone who doesn't drink beer to drink this (fruit) beer...
It is sweet, with aromas of dried plums and cinnamon, it has almost no alcohol, even though it has 4.5%.
As soon as I drank a few more sips, after eating a few bites of spicy burger, I understood why spicy food (meat) was recommended with fruit beer.
Well, I drink this kind of drink most often with strong food, only without alcohol, like some less sweet juice, to dilute the strong taste of food in my mouth.
I'm not saying this beer isn't good and interesting, I really liked it, but it wouldn't be a choice for me if I wanted to drink beer.
I would prefer it instead of some juice, with some dessert.
On this occasion, I would like to ask my friend, considering that he drank fruit beer in Prague, and that I found the same beer in Hungary, if it is available in Spain?

To me, the overall experience of FirstBeer beer, Pilsner and fruity, with a combination of pistachios and spicy burger, is super positive, and perhaps my favorite thing is that after tasting these excellent beers, I will have one more fantastic glass left in my collection.
I write down the name of the brewery in my notebook, so I can look for some classic Craft IPA beers.

You described it in great detail, congratulations. I usually avoid food when I try beer. Only water, if necessary.
Otherwise, now that I've read this, I'd rather treat myself to a good portion of pistachios. I've already written the post. 🍻
When I eat while drinking beer, I first take a sip, two beers, to feel the smell and taste, and then move on to the food.
