Wonky Things Happening On This #BEERSATURDAY

So I pulled up to do a #beersaturday post and an old post that had already posted, posted again?

Yankee Spies and Saboteurs no doubt!

Which brings me to this selection on #beersaturday with a beer called Northern Aggression. See there are always two sides and sometime three sides to a story. In the South the American War Between the States was often referred to as the War of Northern Aggression. And that is one side of the story.

In the North, those unpleasant times are referred to as the Civil War, however and truth be told there was nothing "civil" about that War.

There is a third side to this story, one that is only whispered, as the war may still be going on to this day.

Well sort of a history lesson. I want you to remember the causes of the Opium War, where the British went to war with China to force the Chinese to accept opium from India. See the British, more accurately the financial institutions had run out of silver and gold to buy spices and silks from China. Their answer, start a war with China, control all the imports and exports and thus get their silver and gold back.

I need to start drinking this bad boy fast.

So let's just call the War of Northern Aggression or the American Civil War the Great Cotton War. The banking interests in Europe, primarily in France and England were tired of paying silver and gold for Southern Cotton. No better way to get that silver and gold back then a nice little war with England and France supplying all the weapons of war.

Take a nice long sip of whatever brew you are drinking and ponder that old chestnut for awhile.

I think we're going to push up this week, I'm feeling lucky! It's good to see premiums down on silver Eagles but still higher than I'm willing to pay on them.

Its chart the way we are seeing it continue to parrot and we are seeing its price rise and if it goes above 24 and holds then we will see it up more.
