October Is In The House!

I have been holding this special brew for a two weeks now just waiting for the arrival of October!

And what better way to ring in October on #beersaturday than with the OktoberBeast!

Aviator Brewing Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina is one of those very special breweries and brews one of my favorite beers.

Aviator's 3 Bones Kolsch Ale is in the @handofzara Hall of Fame.

I have a theory and I wonder what you think of this theory. In addition, from this day forward I demand by all blockchain rights to refer to this theory as the "@handofzara theory of Craft Breweries".

My newly patented theory is this: If a Craft Brewery can brew a good Kolsch, then they can brew anything. Conversely, if a Craft Brewery can not brew a good Kolsch then the motto of the brewery might as well be . . .

That's the "@handofzara theory of Craft Breweries"; am I right or am I wrong? Well that is a bit rhetorical, since I am always right and only occasionally misguided.

There you have the Oktober Beast and what a fine and magnificent beer it is. The folks of at Aviator did not disappoint. But then again Aviator can brew an excellent Kolsch so of course they can brew anything well. The "@handofzara theory of Craft Breweries" is proven once again.

TRIVIA TIME

I have a #beersaturday tradition of asking a trivia question. The first person to answer in the Comments earns a BEER TOKEN.

QUESTION: Marzen Ale is traditionally served in the month of October, in WHAT MONTH IS MARZEN ALE TRADITIONALLY BREWED?

Good luck and I will see y'all next #beersaturday!

Sort:

Beer helps me think too my friend. I am going to have to take the obvious answer and go with September.

There is some good logic in you Kolsch theory - there is nowhere to hide with a Kolsch, if you don't know what you are doing then it'll be a disaster. Big hoppy ales are way more forgiving.
