It is #beersaturday and time to launch into the cosmos!
Alright then, I spent the last month of #beersaturday nights enjoying IPAs by Wicked Weed Brewing and since I now have a greater appreciation of IPAs, I decided to carry on this week with another IPA.
By appreciation, I mean that many of these IPAs pop the top with the ABV! It is almost like a "two for" which roughly translated means two for the price of one! And when drinking craft beers, that can mean a great deal to the wallet.
Imagine getting the "Buzz" for the cost of one beer that would for say a lager cost you two beers?
And that is my understanding of the IPA!
Can we just for one brief second, stop and enjoy the beauty of this beer, it is out of this world.
And yet the Wiseman says that the entire COSMOS is within!
As the late great Carl Sagan said, "The Cosmos is within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the Universe to know itself."
And if you are pondering how I know that quote, well it is written on the beer can -duh.
Who needs a formal education when you can find all the cool stuff on a beer can?
Well, not really but in the exploration of the Cosmos Within I am currently on my third little astronaut and I am feeling the star stuff within! So yea, that is what Carl Sagan said or would have said if he was on his third IPA!
BEER NAME: Cosmos Within
STYLE: IPA
ABV: 6.4%
BREWER: Wiseman Brewing of Winston-Salem, North Carolina
APPEARANCE: orange, cloudy with a foamy head
AROMA: Citrus
TASTE: orange juice with hops
MOUTHFEEL: medium body and the orange lingers
OVERALL: reminds me of a "screw driver" with a fizz (a screw driver is a drink made from Vodka and orange juice)
So at this point very happy on #beersaturday!

This drink colour looks so beautiful and its taste is also very good.
I don't know, screwdriver tasting beer. I'll stick with the the screwdriver with a double shot!
