Funny name - what is the message of this for a non english thinking guy like me??
A Hawker is a person who sells goods from a cart in the street who are often immigrants. The story is that the owner of the brewery was in Australia to sell (or 'hawk') his beer from his brewery back in the Middle East, fell in love with Australia, decided to move here and start another brewery so he called it Hawkers - because he was a immigrant coming to sell his product.
