All Cats Are Gray In The Dark is a 7.2% alcohol/volume White Stout made by Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. in East Hampton, Connecticut. Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. opened on August 13, 2016 as a seasonal small craft brewer operating out of a barn. They specialize in high quality batches and do their best to support local agriculture. Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. got it's name from a cat named 'Billy' that used to hang out with the brewers and support them on a daily basis. Unfortunately Billy has moved on to a better place, but his presence will forever live on in the Breweries name. At first glance, this White Stout can easily be confused with an IPA, but after a sip you'll realize it's a stout at heart.

The Can
All Cats Are Gray In The Dark is served in a full pint can. The front features an dark, starry cat, with green eyes and a big ol' grin on it's face. The words 'Fat Orange Cat' are featured in orange along with the attributes of the beer. The back of the can has the name 'All Cats Are Gray In The Dark' written into the back side of the cat's head.
The Beer
All Cats Are Gray In The Dark was a light orange color when I poured it into a glass. It's not something you would look at and think it's a stout. A fluffy head of foam formed at the top of the beer. At first swig, you can see why it's a stout. The beer had a creamy, white chocolate and vanilla flavor. It was a very unique experience. At 7.2% alcohol content a couple of these were perfect. Overall it was a nice take on a light stout. I look forward to trying more beers from Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. in the future!

Can't say I've had a lot of white stouts but this looks tempting.
I'm pretty sure all All cats are grey is a Benjamin Franklin quote (and a Cure song) meaning what things look like is unimportant to what they are - so it's a well named beer.
Oh very cool! Perfect name for the beer, especially coming from a brewery called Fat Orange Cat! This was definitely an interesting one, I actually had to go back and get another 4 pack
