This is an excellent first time Beersaturday post! Well done. Sounds like an interesting beer. I have tried Crabbie Ginger beer and it wasn't my thing. This one's sounds better to me. The cookies look and sound amazing. The cheese is an interesting addition.

Totally understandable and valid. It does not taste much like beer at all but a candy drink. But now I am very curious if I can get my hands on Crabbie and compare the two side by side, how close they are in taste, and whether I recalled it correctly.
