Nicht etwa die Nummer 3, die hatte ich schon, sondern heute wird anlässlich des 191zigsten BeerSaturday´s vom munteren Biertrinker @detlev, die Nummer 9 des Leningraders verkostet und die kleine Russland Trilogie der Biere, findet ihren Abschluss. Der Russe geht heute von uns.
BALTIKA the third.
Not about the number 3, I already had, but today on the occasion of the 191zigste BeerSaturday's of the cheerful beer drinker @detlev, the number 9 of the Leningraders is tasted and the small Russia trilogy of the beers, finds its conclusion. The Russian are leaving today.
Das Baltika 9 ist ein Starkbier mit 8% Vol / Alc, welches im Jahre 1998 das Licht der Welt erblickte.
Das es nur am hohen Alkoholgehalt lag, der in der russischen Trinkkultur ja eine nicht zu unterschätzende Rolle spielt, das sich dieses Bier schnell größter Beliebtheit erfreute ist nicht belegt. Vielmehr deutet einiges darauf hin, das den Brauern dort ein kleines Kunststück geglückt ist, denn immerhin wird deren Marke in über 40 Länder der Welt exportiert und räumte im Laufe der Jahre einige bemerkenswerte Auszeichnungen ab.
So zum Beispiel im Jahre 2008, als es die Silbermedaille in Brüssel beim alljährlich stattfindenden Superior Taste Award Wettbewerbs gewann, der einer der anerkanntesten dieser Art ist.
Die Jury dort besteht aus Vertretern renommierter europäischer kulinarischer Institute und der Internationalen Sommeliervereinigung (ASI), die eine Blindprüfung der zum Wettbewerb eingereichten Produktproben vornehmen, was ein unvoreingenommenes Abstimmungsergebnis garantiert.
Produziert wird das Baltika 9 heute unter Lizenz, in Kasachstan, der Ukraine, Usbekistan und Aserbaidschan und eines dieser hochprozentigen Fläschchen gelangte auf abenteuerlichen Wegen in meinen Kühlschrank.
Baltika 9 is a strong beer with 8% Vol / Alc, which saw the light of day in 1998.
That it was only the high alcohol content, which in the Russian drinking culture plays a role not to be underestimated, that this beer quickly enjoyed great popularity is not proven. Baltika 9 is now produced under license in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and one of these high-proof bottles found its way into my refrigerator by adventurous paths.

Optisch gibt es auch hier nichts zu meckern, es schäumt gut auf im Glas, die Krone steht stabil und es sieht eben aus wie man es von einem Bier erwartet.
Die flüchtigen Aromen welche mir beim einschenken um die Nase schwirren, lassen Gutes erahnen und schon nach dem ersten Probeschluck ist klar, das die Nummer 9 der Sieger ist.
Visually, there is nothing to complain about, it foams well in the glass, the crown is stable and it looks just as you would expect from a beer.
The volatile aromas that buzz around my nose when I pour it, suggest good things and already after the first test sip is clear that the number 9 is the winner.
Es ist unter den drei verkosteten Baltika Bieren, das mit Abstand würzigste und weiß durchaus zu überzeugen, auch wenn mir bei diesem, wie schon bei seinen Vorgängern, die Hopfen Note zu schwach ausfällt.
Mein Liebchen hat das nicht gestört und Sie hatte folgendes zu sagen:
„ Boah das ist aber stark, schmeckt aber lecker. „
Ganz die Fachfrau eben.
It is among the three tasted Baltika beers, by far the spiciest and knows quite convincing, even if I find in this, as in its predecessors, the hop note is too weak.
My wife did not mind and she had this to say:
" Boah that is strong, but tastes delicious. „
Quite a expert woman.
Alles in allem haben mir die Russen mit ihren Baltika Bieren bewiesen, das es neben Wodka auch noch sanftere Getränke im Lande gibt die schmecken und mit denen man sich das Leben auch schön saufen kann.
All in all, the Russians have proven to me with their Baltika beers that, in addition to vodka, there are also softer drinks in the country that taste and with which you can make your life taste more beautiful.
Das war es von mir für heute, ob es nächste Woche frisches Bier zum verkosten gibt ist noch unklar, bisher sieht es schlecht aus, aber noch ist ja ein wenig Zeit und irgendwie wird mir schon eins zugeflogen kommen.
