For this #beersaturday adventure, I had to make choice in haste. Running behind after a long day of daughter watching, I needed to get back home in time for dinner. So I stopped at my favorite Minnesota liquor store to find something new. This can caught my eye, so I grabbed it and away I went.
I should have really looked at that description above, because this one tastes like a milkshake IPA. I know a lot of people like that style of beer, but it's not really my thing. This one does taste like coconut...it smells like coconut, and finishes like coconut. For some reason, I was thinking this was a double IPA, but I was way, way off...
I gave it 3.50/5.00 on Untappd. It's good, but the milkshake in it is a bit much. I managed to get a bit of heartburn from it. This is what the beer gods give me when I make a hasty choice. I knew better, but I rolled the dice anyway. Living life on the edge over here, I tell you...
So what was I in a hurry for? Homemade pizza night, of course!
We started with some premade crusts from the food co-op:
Then added pizza sauce:
Then added some chicken sausage, peppers, pepperoni, and plenty of cheese to each...
And then drizzled a bunch more cheese on top of everything else:
The final product? Delicious, as always!
Yum and yum...beer and pizza. You can't have a better #beersaturday experience than that.

Beer and pizza always a winner, pity the milkshake flavour ruined it and gave you heartburn, as aesthetically it looked a nice beer and love the can art on it.
