This is a long weekend in Spain, Wednesday and today are holidays so many people have taken Thursday off to have a 5-day off work. Besides that, there are many Christmas festivals taking place around and I decided to visit this one as there was also a Craft Beer and food festival.
I know most of the beer companies there, I just wanted to meet with a couple of them as we are planning a few pre-launch events in January to test everything. But if there is something that fascinates me besides craft beer is food trucks. So I decided to start in that area which together with the beer was the gastronomic market.
I love how food trucks have all the equipment they need in such a tiny little space and how some of them can offer great meals. As I was attending "early" everyone was just setting up and I had a chance to shoot some of the trucks with no people around. Here are a few of the ones I took a picture of.
Besides the food trucks, other food stands were offering traditional Spanish food sandwiches and Turkish kebabs.
But the one stand that had the longest line was the churros one, offering several varieties of them together with hot chocolate or coffee.
You could even see how they were cooking them.
I finally ended up reaching the Craft Beer area and met with a couple of companies to define dates for pre-launch events. This was the last of a three-day festival for them and they were starting to be exhausted although quite happy with the number of people who had shown up. Here are a few shots of the beer stands.
All in all, it was a pretty nice festival which started to get crowded by the time I left around noon. I ended up having a Spanish sausache sandwich and a couple of beers :)
I tried Espiga and Mager :)
You must have enjoyed the festival. That's pretty cool.
So, which beer did you enjoy?
Que lindo evento para asistir, me encantaría poder estar ahí y probar algunas cervezas.
