Last night I went out for dinner with my wife. After the meal, I suggested stopping by Molta Malta, the Synera brewery taproom. We were not far away and could just walk through the Mataro city center pedestrian area. After 10 minutes we landed there.
It was around 11 pm, and street terraces were full of people having some drinks as the weather had changed and temperatures were very nice. We got there and said hi to Marc, the owner, and Sergi, his bar manager.
After a few visits, the place starts to feel familiar. Marc is a great guy who's been producing beer for more than 15 years. He started at home and a few years later created his brand. Synera Brewing. And just 18 months ago he became the owner of Molta Malta. The previous owners decided to close down the place and he decided to purchase it to make it the taproom of his beer brand.
Synera was one of the two beta testers we had for Gifme.Beer dApp, last night I announced to him, that everyone who scanned the QR code and got the NFT on testnet a month ago, finally had the mainet NFT airdropped on their wallet.
I decided to try Synera American Pale Ale and my wife tried a Pilsen from Ogham, another craft beer company from Barcelona. We left almost at midnight and had a great talk with Marc as he spent some time with us explaining how he started the business and how he organized a beer festival in his hometown in June and in Mataro in September. We definitely will be there!
Going out with our mate is the best option because it brings couple closer to each other.
