It is indeed very hard to explain the term 'drink-drinking'.
I only go out once every 2 weeks usually... but when I do... I make up for the past two weeks of sobriety 🤣
Although... I went out and read 4 of my poems at a local poetry night last night, then went drinking with a bunch of poets 😂 So the hangover is back, but not so bad today. Me and another fella were declared the best poets of the night. It made me so proud... but also I got a little too drunk because of the praise. I won with this little beauty:

I laughed at "not really" drinking. Looks like you have the same approach as an athlete.
