I would not want to rely on social media for my main source of income.
That sounds scary.

O.O ya yet theres many people that are doing this and making millions

It's great that they're finding success, but it's essential to remember that these visible accomplishments might not tell the whole story. I am sure that there are way more that didn't make it.

I don't want to discourage those pursuing the dream of becoming a social media influencer, but it's important to recognize that not everyone is suited for it. It's crucial to be realistic and consider the potential consequences, as you can't risk everything without being certain you can provide for yourself and those you care about in the end.

of course la. that's the same thing in any business mah. not all will find success some will close down.

There's a risk to doing your own thing than finding a job and working for others. but theres a lot of upside as well. I know you're very risk adverse AK know you long enough liao.

well sometimes people do risk everything. they put their home on mortgage , they all in. it's crazy but i wanna say 90% they pull it off because once they reach that point they are where they can't afford to fail. They will hustle and make it happen.

The reason for your perspective might be that you haven't observed the failures up close and witnessed how they can not only result in personal setbacks but also affect those in their immediate circle.

I don't have any objections to people wholeheartedly pursuing their dreams, but the choice to go all in and take significant risks must ultimately be a responsible one.

Nah there will always be failures. We've already seen a lot of shops failing during covid times. Failures do set us back but it's also good as long as we learn from it. It actually puts us 1 step back to only go 10 steps forward.

Sometimes when pursuing that dream you come down a road where you have to give it up or sacrifice/take the risks that could obviously have consequences of setting themselves back or even affecting those in their immediate circle. We only die once and there are people that are willing to go all in~. In this sense, I think it's at least better than gambling at a casino since you have more control of the outcome.

There always two sides to the coin ~ and i think it also depends where we are at life. Maybe those with more commitments should consider more but those that are still young and free not married no children well they can take the shot like why not~ if they truly believe they can make it happen

Yes, and that's why I emphasize the importance of making a responsible decision when chasing one's dreams, not a selfish one.
