Here's What Is Ranking on My Website

in Hive PHyesterday

I have been writing for years, and one thing that I noticed on my blog posts is that most of them are gaining traffic organically, but most are not ranking, just the bare minimum.

But the good thing is, I have a solution.

I opened my Google Search Console, headed to Search Results, then checked the Queries.

How many impressions and clicks it gets from the past 3 months. This is where I get the data, topic, and ideas that I can write again to get viral and write SEO-optimized blog posts.

And you know what is more surprising?

These queries are what is going viral on my blog posts and I wasn't expecting it. Most of them are even ranking on Google.

I am actually ranking for the top 2 on Google SERPs, I once was the rank 1 but it's been a long time since I updated this so maybe it is one of the reasons why I am not ranking.

I am also ranking for the top 6 on the keyword MSI GF63 Thin Review, which was my review post when I bought my first ever self-bought laptop.

But what now?

And why this actually matters…

One thing that I noticed is that Google ranks my posts if it is more on personal and self-written blog. When I was writing those blog posts, I had no intention of ranking on Google.

I wrote it just to document my life, my experience, and just to tell myself in the future that I bought this laptop from my hard-earned money.

I never thought that it would rank.

Now, do you think SEO is dead?

I don't think so.

Google now prioritizes personal and natural written blog posts. I also noticed that the pictures that I attached to those two blog posts were captured by me, so I think AI-written or stock photos won't work the same as before.

Now, what I am trying to say is that most of my posts will be just in the form of a diary. A journal, or maybe a documentation if I want to share something on the internet.

It is my motto after all. I would like to avoid writing content that competes with huge websites in the same industry.

I will still write SEO posts and continue my series, but I will make sure that all of my photos will be from me and based on my experience only.

And let me tell you this, from my 5 years of experience in writing, I learned a lot of valuable lessons that most beginners could avoid if they will focus and learn from MY mistakes.

There are things that you can avoid, and I shared my experiences in this e-book that I recently published. It is on sale, and cheaper - by reading this, you can avoid a $100 loss from writing that you might do as a beginner.

Spending on ads? You don't need it.

Buying backlinks? Google can penalize you.

All of these can be avoided; don't do the same as I did before.
