On HIVE you get a main crypto Hive and HBD as a reward and then stake, send or exchange them in trading markets and quick exchanges for something else, on alternative HIVE frontends built on top of the same Hive blockchain you get their alternative tokens that you can then exchange, stake, or send in Hive Engine or some other place that supports them.
In addition, a person staking more of the alternative tokens while voting on your content will reward you essentially in all of those staked tokens.
Yes, rewards are real. Follow instructions and FAQ to use the Engine and alternative frontends. They all also in general have a Discord channel where you can ask for information and help.
