Celebrating Valentine's is a reminder of how important to love and to be loved because when there is love there is peace. When you love, you will care and when you care you will share. Expressing or showing your love to your country, community fellowmen, friends, brothers and sisters, parents, children, and your loved ones or your partner is not only on Valentine's Day but you can show your love and care every day and everywhere. As part of our celebration, we the BCBP Bogo Chapter celebrate Valentine's productively and memorably by having a dinner for a cause.
The governance team planned the activity carefully. This way of celebrating Valentine comes up since the community needs funds for the community's upcoming activities. The invitation was sent through GC at the earliest time so that the members could prepare since the registration was 800.00 pesos and it is quite big for me especially for a couple. It will cost 1600.00. The event was held at Tokyo Steak House, Dakit, Bogo City, Cebu on February 14, 2025.
The event started with a dinner and then followed by a Q and A game or a Punishment or Reward game. The wife will read a question and the husband will answer. The wife will decide if the answer is correct or not.It it's correct a reward is given and if the answer is wrong a punishment is given. My husband and I were the 3rd couple being asked. Our question was "What was my first impression of you" My husband's answer was wrong actually since his answered was his impression of me and greet ft f4not my impression of him. The games finish until all couple was done.
After the games was the video K challenge. We all chose our song to sing while the boys enjoyed drinking some wine. I choose to sing the song *"Tagouan" by Moira. I felt I was not able to sing it correctly since I forgot that I am tired of our Provincial Meet 2025 as kitchen personnel. I'm very much sleepy. I need to recover my sleep for having not enough slept for 6 days. Even if there were some lines I wasn't sing it perfectly but we enjoyed our singing session.
After our singing session, we went home bringing memories of celebrating Valentine's Day with the other members of the community. To all who joined and supported the activity my salute to all of you. They showed the true spirit of love and commitment to the community. May God bless each member who shared their efforts to make the activity successful and meaningful
