Hello, good morning everyone! It's almost 2 weeks since I didn't publish any content for my blog in this wonderful community Last week I traveled to Manila for NAC45 and then May 26 and 27 was Bogo Fiesta and I had lots of invitations. Then lately I was also busy with my medical requirements. So now, thank God I had a chance to share with you this time my first experience at Mactan International Airport during my travels to Manila for the BCBP National Assembly and Convention Forty-five years of Hope and Fortified by Faith.
Last May 22 was our scheduled flight to Manila to attend NAC 45. Therefore, we woke up early at 12:00 so that we could catch up with our flight at 8:45. Supposedly our flight was at 12:30 but it was changed to 8:45. Were thankful that it was earlier while some of our ates and kuyas flight was changed from 12:30 to 7:30. My husband and I took or had a hetched ride with our Chapter Head. We departed Bogo around 1:20 am and arrived at Mactan Airport at 3:20 am. I don't have any experience yet at Mactan Airport so I just followed them. But my husband went many times to Manila so he is already familiar. When we arrived we looked for a comfort room and then looked for a food station to have our breakfast before we went to the boarding gate since we had checked in online and we chose to only carry our bags with us.
We went inside to Casa Verde to have our breakfast. I ordered a mushroom omelet and water only. For 2 orders I paid almost 700.00 pesos. I laughed because I did not expect that I would pay that amount and it's only egg and a little bread. We have nothing to do with it since it was at the airport.
After having our breakfast we proceeded to the luggage check-in section. While on our way I took photos of some eye-catching views inside. Then we proceeded to the boarding gate. We submitted our bags for scanning and checking. I was shocked when my bag was opened and checked inside. It was found out that we brought 250 ml of cream silk I forgot that it was not allowed especially if our bag is only hand carry. They suggested depositing our bag but I insisted. I surrendered my 250 ml cream silk since it was 150.00 only. Then we go to the boarding gate. We waited there for almost 1 and a half hours. It was already 8:50 when went inside the plane. We were onboard at exactly 9: 00 am but we flew at exactly 9:43. Our ✈️ flight was delayed for 1 hour.
