January 7, 2024, it was my parent's 51st wedding anniversary, my siblings planned to have a small celebration for our parents. My mom like to go to Classic Savory but we don't have enough money to afford eating there. My brother Nan came up with a better plan. He will cook beef pares and my sister will cook mami. And we will go to Esplanade and eat there like a picnic, at night.
That was a good plan and I'm excited because I haven't been there. What's in there? I asked myself. I'm picturing in my head the Esplanade in Singapore. But I'm wrong. The Esplanade here in City of San Jose dek Monte, Bulacan is way more beautiful. The good thing is, it is free for all.
Esplanade here is not beside the seashore but beside of a river. I heard a news that the plan of this project will be a long paved way along the river side that will connects the two sides of San Jose del Monte. It can only be access by foot or riding a bike. It will be like the Marikina riverpark.
The Esplanade is open from 4pm to 7pm on weekdays and from 4pm to 9pm on weekends. We are glad that we went there last Sunday. We all enjoyed the night.
The fountains has a color changing lights that is so attractive and it looks like it is dancing.
I didn't capture the other colors because I ate first knowing that I can take pictures later. I thought that the fountain runs until it closes at 9pm. But I'm wrong. The fountain show only up until 7pm.

My dad also bought 1 bilao of palabok and someone brings bread and rice. It is good that my brother Nan has a lot of camping gears. He invested on chairs and tables. Also the cookset and burner. And he brings it all there including some coffee so we can sip a hot and freshly brewed coffee on a cold night in Esplanade while chatting with each other.
We also bring my mother's wheelchair so she can enjoy the views without getting so tired.
My dad and my mom wandered the place. It is unlucky that I didn't had a chance to go with them so I can take pictures of them. They said that the river side is so beautiful that is why me and my sister take a look of it. And it is true. It is so beautiful and clean.
The place is hugh and can accomodate more people. The local merchant also allowed to sell their products there.
The giant Christmas tree is still there even though the holidays are already ends. I don't know when they will put it down and I hope they will never put it down. I think it will help people to forget their problems just by looking at it.

My Recommendations
I want to go back there some time with my friends. I will definitely bring guitar next time.
I am proud that we have this place in our city. And this is really not far from Metro Manila. It is just a 2-jeepney ride from SM Fairview. The place also offers free parking for cars and motorcycles. I suggest you bring foods and drinks (no alcohol) with you cause there is not much of food merchants there. And be there exactly 4pm so you can all enjoy the place more time.

Thank you so much for your kind reply for my mother. We want to have her a good time so she will not think negatively. That's why we occasionally bring her outside to normalized her life. And the good thing is she is improving. We all hope to continue her recovery. Thank you again for the concern.
