I want to share with you what I've been up to and how I celebrated my birthday last March 2. It's turning out to be a really great day as I wake up in the morning with a full of spectacular greetings that make me special during that day. My boyfriend surprised me early in the morning. He came along from North Bogo, but he came all the way to the city to celebrate my birthday with me because I am the only one here in Cebu City for work. So he decided to come with me so that I would have a companion during that day to celebrate my birthday. I had a very wonderful day. There were many laughs, surprises, and uplifting moments that left me feeling so special during that day; I really felt it. I also look back some quiet time to reflect on my previous year and think about what should be coming this year ahead. Overall, it was the perfect balance to restart a new beginning and have some time to refresh.
Before twelve o'clock on March 2, probably at 10 PM my friend messaged me and asked if I wanted to go out to eat because she was hungry at the time. I was also hungry at the time, so the idea of grabbing dinner sounded great. I eagerly agreed, telling her that sounded great. We didn't decide where to go, but I was delighted to spend time anywhere and eat as long as my tummy was going to get full.The only open restaurant nearby our boarding house at that time was Ngojoyong Express only, so that's where we ended up eating hehe. It’s become our go to spot everytime we needed a meal late at night or just wanted something to eat.
After we had eaten at ngojong, my friend said to me that she would go in a convenience store first before we went home because she wanted to buy something to eat at her boarding house so that when she got hungry, she would have something to eat there, so I accompanied her. As we walked around, she spotted a cake that was displayed and she remembered that it’s my birthday tomorrow or let’s just say in 1 hour because we are together the night before my birthday, and she decided to buy it for me, as she said it was her birthday treat for me. I was delighted; it caught me by surprise and touched my heart. It wasn't just the cake for me it was the effort and attention she put into making my upcoming day memorable. I felt overwhelmed at that time it meant a lot to me. It's the little things that show how much she cares for me. My soul is so very happy. I’m thankful to have a friend like her. After we finish our agenda (eating), we head back to our respective boarding houses to relax and sleep since it's super late already.
Early in the morning, my lover arrived in the city without telling me at all he said that he wanted to surprise me. He said that he wanted to celebrate my birthday with me he is ensuring that I won't be alone to celebrate my birthday. He had traveled almost 3 hours he is all the way from Bogo to his hometown just to be with me on my special day, which made me feel really loved and special and I felt so kilig at that time hehe.I wanna share with you all our agenda during my birthday since we didn't eat breakfast and we are already quite hungry, so we decided to eat at Ribshak first before going to Santo Nino so that we won't get hungry there since we don't eat breakfast and lunch yet. After lunch we went to Santo Nino and we finally attended a mass after a long time, which brightened my day and made my soul very happy. We went home after mass to change and rest. Later that night, we were hungry and went to Greenwich to eat dinner it is one of my favorite fast food chains. After we finished our meal, we went to Naga Boardwalk to get some fresh air and to be refreshed and go home after. So that was how my birthday went.
