THE MARTINI BAR KNOWN AS CROONERS BAR
Hello everyone, and welcome! Let me give you a quick tour of my workplace here onboard Princess Cruise Line. I currently work as a bartender on one of the passenger cruise vessels. My assigned bar is Crooners Bar—a fleet-wide signature martini bar and one of the main highlights of the ship. Here, we specialize in crafting a wide variety of martini cocktails, making it a favorite spot for guests looking to enjoy a classic yet refined experience.
So this is the actual bar where I am working and my team mates here at crooners bar with 3 from Philippines, 1 Nicaragua, 1 from Thailand and 1 from Brazil.
The Crooners Bar, located on Deck 6 Midship aboard the Enchanted Princess, holds one of the most strategically advantageous positions on the ship. On embarkation day, the main gangway is most frequently situated on Deck 6, which means Crooners is often the very first bar guests see as they step onboard. This immediate visibility plays a significant role in drawing the attention of newly embarking passengers, many of whom are eager to begin their cruise experience as soon as they arrive.
For many travelers, embarkation can be a long and sometimes tiring process—hours of transit, airport queues, and security checks followed by the boarding procedures at the port. At The Crooners Lounge, guests are treated to an enchanting evening with a special guest entertainer who brings the piano to life. Blending musical artistry with engaging stage presence, the pianist performs a handpicked repertoire of timeless classics and contemporary favorites. The intimate setting invites guests to relax, dance, and immerse themselves in the melodies, creating a warm and lively ambiance that captures the essence of an elegant night out.
THE DRINKS
The bar specializes in martinis, offering a curated selection that highlights both timeless classics and unique house creations. One of the most popular signatures is The Milky Way Martini—a decadent blend of vodka, Kahlúa, and Baileys, elegantly served in a chilled martini glass with a rich chocolate swirl.
To add a sense of theater and excitement to the experience, we offer a signature serving ritual. The martini glass is carefully balanced on the forehead, and the drink is poured slowly and precisely, turning the moment into both a playful spectacle and a memorable highlight of their visit.
