Hello, amazing people here in this community. How are you? Hoping everyone is fine and well. Glad to have you all. It's my first post from this community and hoping for more blog posts here. In today's blog, I'm gonna share our Birthday surprise for our dear Lola Leoning on her 90th Birthday.
We woke up at exactly 3:00 AM on Saturday and prepared a surprise for someone very close to our hearts. My Nanay Richel prepared the food and we prepared a car surprise. After setting all up in the car. We headed right away to Lola Leoning's house located in Nailon, Bogo City, Cebu. While everything is set, we started to wake Lola Leoning and the rest of the people who lived with her in the house through our birthday songs and greetings. We used bandurrias and guitars to make our birthday songs more lively and harmonic. Since it's dawn, expected that everyone are asleep while we're starting to sing and strumming our instruments.
When everyone in the house heard us, they easily woke Lola Leoning to listen our birthday songs and greetings for her. They accompany Lola to the front door with a happy face seeing all of us. She was so happy while listening to us. She even tried to join us in singing because of the happiness she felt.
After our song, Uncle accompanies Lola Leoning to open the back door of his car. As she opened it and saw our surprise. She saw the food, cake, bouquet, and balloons. To her surprise, she cried a lot and felt grateful for us. We handed her the bouquet while she wiped the tears from her eyes. Were very happy seeing Lola's happy face and were also grateful for the special surprise we prepared for her. It was mission accomplished.
After a car surprise, we easily get the food and decorations in the car and set them up in their house. I'm in charge of it and with the help of my cousins, we set it all. Nanay Richel and my aunties are busy preparing the food by slicing the mangoes and the hot water for our coffee and milk. We prayed for our food and proceed on eating.
The foods we prepared namely:
Special Bam-e
Puto Maya
Sliced Mangoes
White Bread and Wheat Bread
Cake
Milk and Coffee
While Auntie Diome prepared the cake to be blown by Lola Learning, we were also busy taking portraits of Lola Leoning with her bouquet. Then we let Lola Leoning blow out the candle and everyone is saying Happy Birthday to her. While eating, we have lots of talking to do until we're full of all the foods we eat.
Since we're full and good to go. We plan on going to the shoreline since their house is located beside the beach and they also own it. While everyone is busy talking with each other the youngster proceed to the beach and have a walk on their sandy shoreline. We waited for the sun to come up but it was too early yet. I took pictures and videos of the beautiful sky.
We went back to the house of Lola Leoning and prayed before we departed ways. That's all for today.

Seventh-day Adventist sis. We used to have harana sa mga birthday celebrants. Nakakamiss ang ganoon medyo natigil kasi nung nag umpisa ang klase kasi super busy ang members. Peru kapag weekend at walang pasok minsan nagagawa padin.

Sabi ko na nga ba eh. Usually mga SDA lang kasi ang mahilig sa harana kapag may birthday hehehe.
