Hi Hivers! #Hive PH # Philippines. Your ordinary girl is back. In this blog, I wish to share a taste of my college experience.
I told in my previous blog that I love to travel and explore new places but since I’m just an ordinary girl with an ordinary background, traveling for me was an extravagant of my life.
So, I decided, I needed to establish my life first to have the finances of my future travel. 😊
I was accepted as a freshman at Cebu Technological University-Main Campus, Cebu Philippines. My first year of being a student was so hard for me. I thought since I experienced socializing with new people in a new place, studying far from my hometown was as simple as ABC. But, I was wrong because I’m a student assistant, a working student, on campus. I worked during the day and attended classes in the evening. My duty time was 7:00 am until 4:30 pm on the afternoon. My class time was 4:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
It was difficult for me to adjust because even though we lived simply in my hometown, most of the household chores in my place were done by my grandmother. Life with a grandmother was like being a Disney princess where my grandmother treasured her granddaughter very well.

It takes five months to adapt to the new system of my life. In the second semester of my first year of college, during that time I mingled with my classmates and tried to blend with them.
At the time, our class was a block section where you continued to be classmates until your fourth year of college, so I unintentionally joined the group.

Joining P.E. culmination, and cheering my classmates was new for me at that time yet I enjoyed the activity and saved it in my memory. Why? I’m not a sporty person, I rather stay in my place and read a book rather than stress my muscles because of outdoor activities.

Fast forward, I made it together with my classmates we completed our bachelor's degree. The journey we had was so challenging yet despite the catastrophe that came in our lives, we stood firmly and received our diploma.

After completing my degree, I feel comfortable exploring new places. If you want to know more about my travels please do not hesitate to follow and support my new blogs.
Thank you for taking the time to read my college life of an ordinary girl.
This is me signing off. See you on my next blog hivers.

School life is where we get to navigate life and friendships on a whole new level, as we look forward to a more serious and stable future. It's all fun and games in elementary and high school, but a lot of balancing to be done in the uni!
