Hi, Hivers!
How's the weekend going? Mine's just a little bit chill since we just arrived from a week-long Web3 event in Taguig City. And while we were there, I just cannot pass on the opportunity to see the Philippine's first 3D billboard.
It was Tuesday night and we just left Shangri-La Hotel for a sumptuous dinner when I asked my boyfriend if we can go and check out the digital billboard that was just unveiled on October 27. We don't know the exact location though but as soon as we stepped out of the lobby, he saw a billboard that was gleaming from where we are at. He wondered if it was the same as I was talking about.
We find our way out of the hotel to confirm and yes, it is! (Shangri-La is visible from the photo above.)
The billboard is located at Bonifacio High Street. Among the brands that already displayed their ads are Food Panda, Maya, Netflix, Globe, and Disney.
I have added the map here for easy reference. The billboard is located at the facade of Bonifacio High Street. |

To be honest, I was expecting a display similar to that of NYC Time Square and Tokyo Shibuya (a tiger that appears to be jumping out of the screen).
The billboard still looks fresh to the eyes but I do hope our digital creatives will take advantage of this technology to showcase their talents in making global quality ads! Something that will stir more excitement to a viewer when they see it (because that's how I felt when I saw the ad from Time Square thru IG).
Have you seen it yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section!
Daming ganap sa BGC!
I hope they would improve and take advantage of the 3d billboard. 🙏
@wittyzell true! paganda ng paganda ang BGC over the years, sana wag maging kasing congested katulad ng makati haha
