Hi, Hivers! I am trying to keep up with my posts. The past 2 days, we had a glimpse of the day 1 and day 2 of the Philippine Web3 Festival that happened in Island Bar and Marquis Events center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The focus for the 3rd day (Conference Day 2) of the Web3 Fest event are games and guilds.
The day kicked off with a talk on Defining the Web3 Ecosystem delviered by Neil Trinidad of Gcash. Gcash, the #1 Finance app in the Philippines, is the official wallet of the PH web3 fest and is also a co-presenter of the event.

It was then followed by Scientific officer of Farcana, Dr. Dimitriv Mihaylov, who tackled about the Artificial Intelligence Applications in Web3 Games.
Shortly after, panelists Lorne Lants (Breadcrumbs), Jarno Laatikainen (Chainalysis), and John Cattral (Amazon Web Service) had a discussion about The Protectors of Web3: Keeping the Metaverse Secure. The panel was led by Chin Gandia (Emfarsis).
A fireside chat between Ash Mandhyan of MetaverseGo and Crisela Magpayo-Cervantes of Globe came in next with their topic Simplifying the Pathway to the Metaverse. Globe is the Official Telco & Connectivity partner of the web3 festival. Both Globe and MetaverseGo are co-presenters of the event.
The next keynote speaker delivered his presentation remotely. The Role of BNB Chain for Gaming in Emerging Nations was presented by Alvin Khan.
Next was a panel led by Jen Bilango (BlockchainSpace). Panelists include Irene Umar (YGG SEA), Akio Tanaka (YGG Japan), Christy Choi (SkYGG), and Abhishek Anand (IndiGG).
It was an interesting panel as they started the discussion with how each guild differ from one another. Their main topic was They talked about Global Guild Outlook. Jen reiterated at the end of the talk how balanced the panel is by having 2 men and 2 women to share their thoughts and knowledge on the topic.
The next topic Funding the Revolution for Good was discussed by another panel led by Angelo Kalaw (Celo Foundation), joined by panelists Christine Violago (Crameen) and Maoi Arroyo (IGNITE Impact Fund).
The last topic for the morning of conference is all Web3 Making Lifestyle Solutions Available to All. This was delivered by Varun Panjwani of Metacare.
