The speaker of our orientation is Ms. Navales for me she was a good speaker because she interacted with the student. A lot of question was asked and answered most of the questions contained about the hours how we will be going to adjust and if it's okay for them to have overtime during the shift. Mostly the highlights of our orientation were talking about the endorsement letter and our MOA because this is the most important document we have to pass on to our designated coordinator. Each department has a designated coordinator for the internship so that every student can accommodate each question and help.
It was a good thing because for us students even though we usually know what we are going to do we still have to ask if it is right from their point of view. They also include that we are lucky that we only have one internship, and it only takes up at 240 hours to finish since the pandemic happened, they have to cancel the internship although they have planned to have an online internship, they decided that it is not that effective of us to learn because we mostly learn during real-time or hands on it was the requirement. The orientation ended well, and it only took our time 3hrs, and we learned a lot while everyone was going home, we decided to have lunch in Jollibee. While eating I and @dennmarc talked about where we are going to apply for our internship we decided to apply to a friend of mine, and I treated him as my best friend his name is Karl.
Last week before the orientation we talked to Karl if his company is okay to take interns and he said yes. We talked to him that we are going to try and apply to the company where he's working. On the day of the orientation, he told us that it was the day we are going to apply to Denn, and I was surprised by that announcement. We decided to make our resume or curriculum vitae to apply. Our call time for the application was 6 pm. We decided to stay at Denn's house first and make our resume anyway we don't have our laptop so @juliuss had to pick up his laptop. While we are waiting on them, we are also watching some clips of the "Elementals" movie that was made by Disney. It was not that long since the arrival of @juliuss we quickly make our resume, and we are satisfied with its output. Our resume includes our strengths and our expectations of what we are going to learn also our skills are presented to make the interviewer impressed.
It was 5 pm when we decided to go to the site where we are having the interview the company was called "CXI" it's a bpo company they have an IT department and that is the position we are going to apply for. The company was inside the mall called "Mana Mall" it was actually on the side of the road that you can easily see while traveling.
While waiting after we then they checked our bag and thankfully they have a locker with eyes on it. Someone welcomes us and entertains us first before they conduct the actual interview. His name was Drei and he was the one who approached us and talked about the internship he already oriented us that we will going to have an allowance and that our time's flexible because if ever they will going to accept us we have to ensure that there will not going to be a problem when it comes on the time scheduling shifts. I was called first and for me, the interview went well even though it really appears to me that I was nervous at that time I told what my strengths and expectations about the company are also gladly to talked about how flexible my time is also told that they can always rely on me when it comes to shifting schedules. After the interview that hr.
She told us the last hr interviewer that they will call us before or after Friday to see if we pass the interview and if they can accommodate us. Before we leave the site, we decided to have dinner first before we go home it was already 9 pm when we finished the interview, and we did not notice that time we were eating shawarma rice it was the first time I to eat that kind of food and we for us it was a thumb up good!
We also took a lot of pictures because for us this is a first-time experience, and we will keep this picture as a reminder that we are always going to do good for the rest of us! We don't leave each other's side. Hopefully, we are all going to pass the interview and can accept and absorb us so that we don't have to spend more time to find more companies to accept us. We hope that we will finish this internship fast and can now proceed on developing our thesis application. May this experience will help us get through to the next semester!
