Hello my dear Hivers from this wonderful community @hiveph. How are you all? I hope you're all doing well and accomplish everything you have to finish for the day.
Every effort should be rewarded. May it be by a praise, by a thing or a simple gesture like a hug. For a teacher like me it's important to make them feel valued and rewarded for their commendable efforts in school.
Today I want to share with you the convocation we had for my Grades 2 & 3 last Wednesday. We had after the parent-teacher conference so as to maximize both the time of our parents and mine.
The parent-teachers conference was organized to update the parents of their children's learning progress. We also talked about the preparations for the coming Christmas party of the school. I'm happy everyone was happy to participate.
After the conference, we proceeded to giving the report cards of the learners. This is to have the parents see the grades of their children and for them to indicate their signatures in the report cards.
And we're down to the highlight of the day, the giving of awards and certificates to honor and achiever students for the second quarter. This convocation is actually already behind to the set date due to other intervening activities, but it's better late than never, hehe.
As you can see in the photos learners were really happy receiving their certificates. The parents also looked really proud for their children's achievements. I took photos of them so they will have a photo to commemorate this memorable event.
Each honor student received their certificates for with honors and other learners with commendable behaviors received character traits award certificates. The parents who received the certificates looked really happy and proud. They were more happy with the photos of their children flashed on the television.
I gave taken a photo of them the other day so I could put it in my powerpoint presentation. That way the other learners who have not received an award will be motivated to do better for the next quarter. And be inspired to be on the list of awarded learners.

Congratulations po sa mga With Honors niyo pong estudyante Ma’am. Yung isang kapatid ko naman ay Card Day nila ngayon haha. Sabi ko nga po sa kapatid ko, kapag With Honors siya, kaka-cellphone niya yan kako haha. Yun po kasi favorite kong joke kay Mama kasi madalas silang pinapagalitan kaka-cellphone pero With Honors pa rin😌
Galing naman. Ok lang naman mag cellphone basta nag peperform pa rin sa school. But still gadget use should be in moderation and my limit para hindi rin ma overexpose to radiation and addictive sites. Congratulations sa Kapatid mo!

Thank you @ekaaang. This is what makes teaching rewarding also for us teachers. We get to witness the milestones of our learners and it makes us also proud that they are making progress.

Thanks @iciah for the kind comment. It is my honor to recognize the efforts exerted by my learners. It boosts their confidence and I hope through this those learners who didn't receive awards will get motivated to do better.
