A New Year's Resolution
2022 was a successful year for the HivePH Blogging Contest as we read many wonderful, inspiring, and awesome blog post submissions. We really felt that the community responded to the call for original, creative, and personal stories that resonated with the readers as can be seen from the engagement in the posts. Congrats to everyone who joined and supported this endeavor!
About The January Blogging Challenge
As expected, we thought about creating the customary new year's resolution to start the year right, but for this one, we've decided to ask you to write something related to the Chinese New Year.
The Chinese New Year, which is on January 22, is a fun and happy occasion for us. Many people go to Chinatown in Binondo, Manila to join in the festivities and watch the Dragon Dance where a man holds a pearl to entice the dragon to follow him in the search for knowledge and wisdom. Business owners believe that this will drive away evil spirits and bring in good luck and abundance to the community, hence the yearly ritual.
We also check out our Chinese zodiac sign and see how we will do in the upcoming year. What are your aspirations for the year and does it align with the zodiac year? Masuwerte ka ba ngayong taon? Magkakapera ka ba o magkaka-jowa sa Year of the Rabbit? Malay mo, naka-align pala sa mga bituin ang iyong sign at makakamtan mo ang iyong mga pangarap sa taong ito. Kung hindi naman swak sa kuneho ang iyong sign ay may plano ka bang gawin para kontrahin ang malas? Nasubukan mo na bang mag-konsulta sa isang feng shui expert? Anong suggestion niya sa iyo? These are just some of the things that you may include in your entry. Of course , suggestion lang ito. Do your own thing; write something from the heart. Be creative. Alam namin na marami ka nang naiisip na ilagay sa iyong entry. But, before you start writing, be sure to read and follow the contest rules below.

Wow! May Bago na namang blogging challenge. Sana marami Ang magjoin pero Ewan if marami baba Ang bumasa nito hehehe kasi so far so @juanvegetarian pa lang Ang nag comment hehehe. Ako, honestly di Ako masyadong makakarelate about fengshui, Chinese new year though alam ko Naman ano zodiac sign ko.
I'll just see if makakasulat Ako about this.

Ako nga eh dragon, ano kaya gagawin nya sa kuneho hehehe..
same tayo ahas. sana nga swertehin, kaso parang di maganda ang pagsalubong nung bagong taon. But, technically di pa naman bagong taon sa mga Chinese. Baka after sa chinese new year pa ang simula ng swerte. Sana 🙏!
