A day were my mother and my step dad came home to celebrate a holy week. They didn't go back at the city yet after those celebrations and they stay maybe 3 days here at the province cause they've been watch the news from social media that it have a strong storm that hit to our country and it landed here at Cebu. They got a little bet worried for us because only me and my brother left here at the house so they decided to stay here for a while. While my sister got a rush to go back at the city due to she have a class.
The weather was fine as usual and you can't say that it have a storm coming cause it's have no sign of rain or any signs that a typhoon have before it landed to a place. The three of us go to the market to buy some food to cooked and while were on our way home we decided to stop here . This place is in TCM, a famous spot to visit and to relax. Like I've observed the weather was fine though the clouds are a little bit dark but no rain.
So we calmly say that maybe the typhoon landed to the other place cause the news said that the typhoon landed at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. I don't know if it's right but this time we only calm our self. My step dad buy some tuba I don't know what's the English of it but that's what we called it here.
Not until the next day come. A strong wind and rain started to begin exactly at 3:00 A.M in the morning. I'm still sleeping that time when my mom woke me up due to I need to transfer to the kitchen to continue my sleep. There's a coconut tree near into our house and because of the strong wind my mother was worried because what if it will fall to our house. I have no choice but to obey, the electricity was out also and mh phone are ran out of percent.
A strong wind continues and the roof of our kitchen started to fly. This time are already 7:00 a.m and I decide to cooked for our breakfast. Since the kitchen where I suppose to cooked was in danger so I use the stove where the other people give to us after earthquake.
It's like a reverse of what happened before, the typhoon yolanda that also hit here at the northern Cebu. Yet the typhoon yolanda didn't give any sign that it was so strong not until the time came that it's his right time to land. History repeat itself. Cebu didn't recover the earthquake yet the typhoon already in. A lot of people specially in city got affected from the typhoon. Those houses, families that face the flood, can't bare to see the news of what happened to those people at the city. Even though were so lucky cause were at the province but the guilt was on us, everyone of us. But despite those calamity that the cebuano had face they didn't letgo or forget of helping each other.

STOPIts a scary experience but im glad you and your family stayed safe. Sometimes the calm before a storm really fools us. Cebu has gone through so much yet Cebuanos always show strength and unity.. Stay safe always sending prayers for your family and everyone affected..
