Before the disaster, we have an event in our school which is the Sci - Math expo. Sept 30 when the earthquake started on 9:59 pm but before that we didn't expecting that it would happened and no one expecting that tho, that day before the sun go down just what I have said that we have an event so many things happened it's a memorable day for I enjoyed with my friends, classmates, teachers, and others. So many competition in just one event we have slogan, modulo art, math sayaw, and so many...
Before the event started they'll in line for the attendance, when I arrive at school and I'm little bit late that time so many students go in line for the attendance and also I go in line. After the attendance the event is started the competition of math sayaw is at 1pm some of competition like modulo art, slogan, bingo cards and others is started at morning and while preparing for our competition for math sayaw the bingo cards are started and I have a card for the bingo but suddenly I'm a lucky one to get a prize for the bingo but still I'm enjoyed.
For the competition of math sayaw, we won the first place and yeah, we celebrated that day with so much happiness and excitement. All of our efforts, practices, and teamwork were worth it. Everyone was cheering, clapping, and smiling it was one of the best moments we’ve had. We also had the Mr. and Ms. Sci-Math Expo, where each candidate confidently showed their talents and intelligence. The atmosphere was full of joy, laughter, and energy, and everyone was enjoying the event.
It was such a memorable day for all of us full of fun, learning, and unforgettable experiences. We didn’t expect that by the end of that very same day, something so terrifying like the earthquake would happen. From laughter and celebration to fear and panic, everything changed so suddenly. Still, I’ll never forget that day not only because of the disaster that happened at night, but also because of all the happy memories we made earlier that day with my friends, classmates, and teachers.
6.9 is a terrifying quake here in Cebu, we didn’t expect that it would happen. Before that, we were just expressing our feelings with happiness because of the Sci-Math Expo. We were still celebrating our victory for winning first place in the math sayaw competition and cheering for the winners of Mr. and Ms. Sci-Math Expo. Everyone was smiling, taking pictures, and enjoying every moment together. It was such a joyful and unforgettable day.
But later that night, everything suddenly changed. The ground started shaking so hard, and all the laughter turned into screams and fear. We ran outside, not knowing what to do, just praying that everything would stop. The earthquake was so strong that it felt like the whole world was moving beneath us. It was truly a terrifying experience something I will never forget.
Even though the day ended in fear, I still hold on to the happy memories we made before the disaster. It reminded me how quickly things can change, and how important it is to cherish every joyful moment we have with the people around us.
Congratulations for winning the 1st place! Such a happy and momentous event. But the earthquake was so terrifying.
