RE: Crafting Christmas Tree Through the Chaos

in Hive PHyesterday

It's really nice to know that you still look for ways to build your Christmas tree despite everything that we have been through. It's really special how we Filipinos celebrate Christmas. Imagine having the entire Christmas season starting from the "Ber" months to February!

I just recently talked about this with my partner when we were outside. It's very rare right now to see a lot of Christmas lights in homes, unlike many years ago when we were young. She said that we should try to revive that kind of culture because right now, here at home, we don't have anything Christmassy yet.

Your post really inspired me to start adding some lights to our home too, to remind us of how beautiful Christmas is and how we Filipinos gather and just feel that Christmas spirit for months. We have that joy of Simbang Gabi and other traditions that we have grown up with.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and I'm looking forward to seeing how your Christmas season is going to be this year.

Thank you so much! ❤️ I agree — Christmas will always be special for us Filipinos, no matter what we’re going through. Even simple decorations can bring back that warm, nostalgic feeling we grew up with.

I’m glad this post inspired you to start adding lights at home. Sometimes one small step is enough to spark the Christmas spirit again. Wishing you and your partner a bright and meaningful holiday season! 🎄✨
