Moving up usually composed of giving of certificates and awards and then followed by giving of rewards.
Moving up ceremony is one among many programs that will make the students and parents happy because it is the end of one chapter of the student's study and will be facing another chapter soon. It is the time to receive their certificates, medals and awards.
Every parent brings with them different rewards too for their kids such as garlands, flower bouquet, money bouquet, chocolates bouquet and so many more.
MOVING UP
Last Friday, May 24, 2024 is Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony. I asked my husband to file a leave from his work so that he could also attend the moving up ceremony of our son. He is not really obliged to attend but I insist because this is one among the important parts of our son's education journey. I want our son to feel that we are there to support him always. Knowing that his father will attend in his moving up ceremony made him happy.
I know that this kind of moment will be remembered by our son until he grows up. Me too as a child before wished to have both my parents every time we have moving up and recognition at school.
The program started around 7:30 in the morning. We are glad that we started early so that we will finish early too.
I let my husband accompany our son during the processional march. I am happy watching them walking in the aisle while holding hands together.
AWARDS
Giving of certificates and awards is one among the exciting part of the program. As parents, we are excited to hear our child's name being called to receive their certificate and ribbons of their awards.
I am the one who pinned the ribbons to our son and it really made me happy seeing five ribbons and it means he has five awards.
Our son has the following awards:
Quantum Leap Award
Kinder Leader Award
Star Reader Award
Little Teacher Award
Collaborative Kid Award
REWARDS
Parents have different ways of giving rewards or showing appreciation to their kids. Some made or gave garlands, money garlands, candy garlands, eating to Jollibee, buying toys, buying balloons and ours is just letting him play at Kids Paradise.
At first our son wanted to have balloon, we told him that balloon may fly up high so better we will spend money in food. We bring him to a food court with fried chicken as this is also one of his wish. Then we brought him to Kids Paradise so that he could enjoy playing.
Playing at Kids Paradise is his wish always but we didn't grant it always because it is not yet on the budget but this time we really planned to grant his wish.
He is so happy with his cousin and other kids playing at Kids Paradise.
As parents we are also happy seeing our kids happy.
This is a season of moving up, recognition and graduation day. I want to congratulate every students who did their best as well as to all proud parents who did everything for their children. May God continue to bless us as we face every challenges in life.

Well done to your son getting five awards, such a great start to life. He looks so proud walking with his daddy, you did well to give them that precious moment together.
I really insist that his dad will be with him in processional march. I gave them that moment because in every quarterly recognition I was there to be with my son to get his award and his father is not around because he is in work.
So, during moving up I insist that his father should be there to witness the moving up and show some support and appreciation.
This is anazing, congrats to your amazing son. And having both the mother and father in this kind of events is surely made the kid so happy, look how happy and proud he is ❤️❤️💪.
Yes sis, I really want to have us both in this kind of event because when I was a kid, I also wish to have both my parents.
