Hello Hiveans! I hope that you are all doing well. With the lower price of Hive, the plan is to increase my Hive Power in the next few months through constant power ups and delegation / curation rewards. Hopefully, the price of Hive goes up by the end of the year for a nice holiday treat for me and the family. Wishful thinking, maybe, but if Hive price goes up just to US$1 in December and I cash out 1,000 Hive and convert it into fiat, then it will already be a substantial amount to get really nice gifts and maybe a staycation somewhere, which had become a recent family tradition.
For the record, my Hive Power increased from 3,944.592 (end of April) to 4,038.728 (today), a 94.136 HP increase, which is just a small amount but helps get me better rewards and increases my ability to vote on governance issues regarding the Hive ecosystem. And while it seems like an insignificant amount, smaller accounts can also make an impact if we add it all up.
But more than this, being a proof of stake token, shouldn't we be staking our tokens, or at least a bigger portion of the pie of the rewards we get to help grow Hive?
Anyways, I powered up 48.255 liquid Hive for this month's edition of HPUD to finally be able to reach 4k staked Hive, helping me take another step to get to my goal of getting to 5k by the end of the year.
To end, I think that participating in the monthly HPUD helps create awareness, especially the newbies who are just learning the ropes. And I will end this short update here. Wishing everyone a great day ahead.
