Thanks for tagging me on this one mam @diamondinthesky . This definitely made me wonder about my personal stand on this matter. I like how the bill was emphasized to be applied only on certain cases hoping that it will be followed accordingly. But what made me scared about it is seeing its impact to our future generations. Here in the US, it has been so normal among families to be easily separated and couples getting remarried. But the painful part is seeing those children left behind by these broken marriages. Though some co-parenting works just fine but mostly of it really doesn’t end up good. I’ve seen several students who felt left out and neglected cause single parents had to work even harder to make ends meet. So, personally, I agree that it is essential for those abused wives and children to be free from such horrendous marriages. But with how corrupt our system is, I am not confident if it will be appropriately implemented.

I agree with you Ma'am @jubilantjenny if there are children involved, it is possible that the children will be Left behind the broken marriages. However, if the marriage involves abused on wife and children, that's another thing.It is better to implement the Divorce Bill. I am just curious Ma'am if Annulment and Divorce take the same time and documents for the process.
