Simple Joys: A Cozy Lazy Morning Brunch From 7-Eleven!

in Hive PHyesterday

Hello my dear fellow hivers! Hello to this wonderful community of @hiveph! How are you all today? I hope you are all doing fine right now. This is me again, “LJ” to share another life story to you all.

Yesterday morning, we woke up late since it’s a no-school day and everyone wanted to enjoy a slow, peaceful morning. Instead of cooking breakfast, we decided to just have brunch. Since 7-Eleven was just in front of where we live, we thought it would be nice and convenient to grab some takeout there. Plus, it’s always fun to check if they have new food items available.

When we arrived, the store’s cool air greeted us, and the smell of warm food and coffee made us even hungrier. We went straight to the food section and started checking the options. They had a good variety that morning, and after a few minutes of deciding, we finally picked what to bring home. We bought Spam Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese, Adobo Rice with Egg, Beef Pares, Two-cheese Pepperoni, and Kani Kimbap. I also grabbed a cup of hot chocolate for myself, while my son Reygan chose fresh milk as his drink.

The moment we got back home, we opened them one by one and enjoyed our takeout brunch together. The Spam Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese was surprisingly good! The mix of spicy kimchi and salty spam topped with melted cheese tasted delicious and comforting. My son’s Adobo Rice with Egg had that classic homemade flavor that reminded us of simple meals from home. The Beef Pares, on the other hand, was flavorful and tender. Perfect when eaten with garlic rice. The two-cheese pepperoni and kani kimbap were yummy as well!

My hot chocolate was the perfect match to the meal, warm, creamy, and relaxing. Reygan happily sipped his fresh milk. Even though we were just eating at home, the food felt special. Maybe it’s because we didn’t have to hurry or worry about cooking, and we just focused on enjoying the food and each other’s company.

What I liked the most about this morning was how simple yet meaningful it turned out to be. It wasn’t a grand brunch in a restaurant, but it was still filled with laughter and good food. Sometimes, small things like walking to a nearby store and sharing takeout at home can bring so much happiness.

Before we finished, we even talked about trying other 7-Eleven meals next time. Maybe their pasta or other new meals. Days like this remind me that it’s not about where you eat but who you share meal with. Simple moments like a lazy brunch takeout from a store like 7-Eleven just in front of our home can still create warm and lasting memories.

And that’s it for today! Thank you for droppin’ by and reading my simple life story. I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!

7/11 is always a savior especially when waking up late, when having small break time. I also choose to buy cooked meals their but not very often

Totally agree! 7-Eleven is really a savior for late night cravings or lazy brunch food trip.🥰

hmm,, 7/11 in the Philippines sounds great. It's a good accident that the 7/11 store is in front of your home,, I can not imagine if I were there and went there every day.

Totally! I can go grab some snacks whenever I feel hungry hehe🤭♥️

When I was working, I love the pork liyempo.

I didn't know they now have pares.
Matry nga minsan.

Yes they have new food items now and I hope you could try one too!☺️
