"Work Day Monday: Appreciating Small Moments in the Middle of Routine and Busyness"

in Hive PHyesterday

Hello everyone! Hello my dear hivers in this wonderful community of @hiveph! It's been a while since I last posted here, mainly because life has been keeping me busy with so many different things. But now that I finally have a quiet moment to breathe, I'm here again to share another simple but lovely story with all of you.

Yesterday was Monday, which meant the start of another work week at school. As usual, it was the same routine of paperwork, checking documents, and handling small tasks that somehow take up the whole day. In the middle of my busy morning, one of our teachers passed by my desk and cheerfully asked if I wanted to buy a banana loaf that her son baked. I didn't even think twice because her son is really good at baking. Everything he makes turns out delicious! So of course, I bought one, and just the thought of having it for breakfast the next day already made my day a little brighter.

The weather wasn't the best yesterday. It had been raining on and off, and the gloomy sky made the whole campus feel extra quiet. But thankfully, by the time I clocked out in the afternoon, the rain had already stopped and the air felt cooler. I walked to the spot where my e-bike was parked and noticed that our school nurse, who is also a good friend of mine, hadn't gone home yet. Her e-bike was still there, looking just as tired as mine after a long day. I smiled a little, imagining she was probably still finishing her own paperwork inside.

I hopped into my e-bike and headed home. The ride was peaceful, with the road still slightly wet from the rain, and the cool wind brushing softly against my face. It was one of those simple moments that felt unexpectedly calming, like a small reset button after a long day.

When I reached home, I was greeted by a parcel waiting in the table. It was my online order which was the "Shiritake rice". I had been waiting for it because lately I've been planning to lose a bit of weight. I've noticed that I've gained a little, probably from all the sumptuous food I've been enjoying these past weeks. Nothing major, but just enough to make me want to be a bit more mindful again. So seeing the "Shiritake rice" finally arrive felt motivating, like a tiny step toward getting back on track.

As the evening settled in, I prepared dinner, relaxed for a while, and enjoyed the peaceful quiet of home. Yesterday might have been an ordinary Monday, but it still reminded me that even in the middle of routine and busyness, there are small moments worth appreciating. And sometimes, those small moments make the whole day feel a little more special.

I haven't tried Miracle Dry Rice yet. Is it applicable only to those who want to lose weight?

You should try it! It tastes like real white rice. I think it is not only for people who's on diet but it can be also eaten during camping since it can be cooked with just hot water only.💗

Okay, thanks a lot for the information. 😇

You’re welcome! Have a nice day ahead!
