Hello, dearest Hivers!
As I finally arrived at my siblings room, I saw some guardians had started cleaning the area. I was a bit shy, thinking maybe I was late. Unfortunately, they have just started and the cleaning time is still plenty so, gorabelss! But seriously, this appointment was all about the card day of my grade 3 sibling. And there was a little confusion that day as the meeting was about to end. Curious to know what happened? The full story unfolds as you read on. Enjoy reading!
We first cleaned the surroundings, ensuring every corner including the front and back of the room was spotless. This was our second meeting, and as mentioned in our first meeting, we spend time cleaning the area every quarter. Since there are four quarters in a year, we allocate time to clean each quarter, cultivating a more pleasant and productive atmosphere for all.
After finishing the task, we proceeded to the designated room for a short yet important meeting. While awaiting the arrival of the remaining attendees, I took some photographs of myself. Subsequently, the teacher and other participants arrived with snacks. It was time to eat!
Before the meeting officially started, the other PTA Officers distributed the bread, since they arrived a bit late to help the cleaning, so they generously offered us various snacks. I chose the sweetened bread since I like sweets and enjoy each bite. So sweet and yummy!
The highlight of the meeting was card day , a significant event where the teacher carefully shared his observations about the students' abilities , including the potential grades, the importance of consistent attendance and other relevant factors. He also explained the reasons for his absences , clarifying that they were due to important appointments.
Before the certificates were given out , the teacher handed us the students card to sign it. I was so happy to see my sibling's grades, as she consistently maintains high marks. However , there's one subject that she may need to improve in next time, but I'm still very proud of her. Although the certificates have not yet been given , I was already expecting that she's one of the honor students, based on her overall grades.
Until the unexpected twist turned...
As the teacher announced the honor students individually , I eagerly awaited my sibling's name to be called. However, as the teacher concluded the announcements , my sibling's name was not mentioned. This is where my confusion began. After the photo session with the honor students, the meeting ended. I then decided to approach the teacher in a respectful manner. Knowing the teacher was also approachable and kind , I felt assured that the matter could be resolved right away.
So, we talked for a bit, and it turned out there was just an unintentional incident. Luckily, it was fixed really quickly. The teacher had even prepared a certificate for my sibling, which was super nice , and he handed it to me right away. Since my sibling wasn't included in the pictures with the other honor students earlier , I made sure to take a photo of her outside the room, to make sure we had something to remember her wonderful academic achievement , even if she missed the official group photos.
And in those simple photos, taken just outside the room , I knew we had captured not just an image, but a reflection of her hard work—a treasured memory for years to come, a silent promise of all the brilliant achievements that lie ahead for her. Witnessing her dedication made me incredibly proud , and I felt deeply hopeful for the brilliant future that she deserves.
Congratulations to your sister! Keep up the good grades. It is so nice to see that parents were working hand in hand in cleaning the surroundings. I hope there will be no confusion in the 2nd quarter.
