Hello, lovely Hivers! I would like to share this enjoyable task that we did together. This was the time before the typhoon strike and I can't resist sharing it with you since this isn't just a task, but also a heartfelt unity which we had shared laughters while helping each other.
It was a bit hard and tiring, but enjoyable and super fun as we were helping each other cut down the banana tree, since it was blocking the wire above, and we also had to harvest the fruit. We applied different strategies to cut it carefully, making sure the wire above wouldn't be cut. Just like in life , we have to face different struggles to reach the things we want.
The weather at that time was hot, and my father reached out to us, asking for our help. At first , I was hesitant about whether I would be able to do it. But, we didn't have a choice, since we are mostly girls in the house.
They tied the coconut with a rope because we had to pull the banana tree upward to prevent it from falling down while they were cutting it. This was because there were some important things below , so we had to pull the tree up.
The rope was slippery, so we were struggling to pull it because our hands were also sweating. At this point , I suggested that we use a piece of wood. I wrapped the rope around it so we could have a better grip when pulling, and we only needed to hold the wood as we pulled. However, only a limited number of people could hold the wood. Some of us were still holding the rope as much as we could.
I really don't know how to react – whether to be annoyed, to laugh, or just go with the flow. But seriously , some of us were laughing, so it was inevitable that I laughed as well. That's why we weren't really able to use our full strength for a moment .
The banana tree was about to be cut, but the wire was really blocking it, making it a bit dangerous to cut. So, some of them climbed up to remove the wire. One of our neighbors also offered to help us. However , the wire was too far to reach, so they weren't able to remove it completely. Instead, they cut some parts of the tree to free it from the wire. Eventually , they decided to continue cutting down the banana tree while we pulled on it, as they said the wire wouldn't be a problem.
At that time, all of us were pulling the banana tree, but it still didn't work. Luckily , another neighbor helped us and let us borrow his tool to cut down the banana tree. And finally, we made it! We cut down the banana tree, the wire was also safe, and we had another banana for our snacks.
